Extractions

The extraction, or removal, of a tooth is sometimes needed. The reasons for extraction may include extensive cavity in the tooth/teeth, incisor (front teeth) crowding, or generalized crowding with tooth removal requested by an orthodontist. Dr. Eryn, Dr. Maribel, and Dr. Rosa do their very best to make each child comfortable during this procedure with appropriate anesthetic use and distraction techniques. Some children do not even realize their tooth has "fallen out" until the procedure is finished!
